DescriptionFUNCTION: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which may specifically enhance the E2 activity of HIP2. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates . May be involved in T-cell proliferation by regulating LIF secretion (By similarity). May play a role in lysosome homeostasis . Promotes 'Lys-6', 'Lys-11' and 'Lys-63'-linked mixed polyubiquitination on ATG14 leading to the inhibition of autophagy by impairing the interaction between ATG14 and STX7 . Participates in the dopamine-mediated negative regulation of the NLRP3 inflammasome by promoting its uibiquitination and subsequent degradation . .
