Molecular function

Enables the transfer of a solute or solutes from one side of a membrane to the other according to the reaction: ATP + H2O + Cu+(in) = ADP + phosphate + Cu+(out).

Note that this enzyme transports Cu(+) or Ag(+), and cannot transport the divalent ions, contrary to EC:7.2.2.9, which mainly transports the divalent copper ion (source: EC:7.2.2.8).
